In 2006, Expertees donated over $3,000 in money and merchandise to worthy local and National charities. Included were The Red Cross (for Hurricane Katrina), Habitat for Humanity, Mountain View Elementary School, (Corvallis, OR) The Humane Society, Goodwill Industries and local area High Schools.

We also volunteered man hours for The Smart Programme, The Humane Society and local events.

In keeping with the philosophy of our family and business we believe in the practice of "Giving Back". Without doubt, it is one of the most rewarding aspects of running a business. Thus, 5% of all sales will be donated to a community cause or charity.

This month we are giving to Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland, OR.

Care at this pediatric hospital encompasses children from birth through adolescence with:

• 43 newborn intensive care beds,
• 48 general acute pediatric beds,
• 16 pediatric intensive care beds,
• 16 cancer center beds,
• dedicated pediatric operating rooms,
• radiology and diagnostic support,
• infusion and day hospital units,
• school rooms, and
• a host of support services for patients and their families.
